Girl Money

Girl Money by Empress Trash began as a shitpost on Zora, questioning the very nature of money and highlighting how traditional currency often features white slave owners and is predominantly green. Using AI combined with glitch techniques, she created a contrasting concept of a generic royal looking woman and pink.

Launched as a creator coin on Zora, it attracted attention as she actively traded it to understand coin mechanics. She later distributed the coin to the Farcaster community to explore new methods of art distribution through coin dynamics.

Empress Trash further expanded on Girl Money by creating remixes, one of which is inscribed on Bitcoin Ordinals, and another that reinterprets her Ghost Machine PFP. Through these variations, she continues to explore the question: what is Girl Money and in what ways does money influence our personal and collective identities?
